ESCOLAPP wins the Audience Award in Challenge Apps
The contest Challenge Apps for the Inclusion encourages and rewards applications that improve vulnerable people's lives through technology.
ESCOLAPP is a mobile app that improves communication between schools and parents.
Challenge Apps for Inclusion is a contest promoted by Barcelona Local Government and the startup Dotopen that awards the best apps created with the aim of improving the living conditions of vulnerable people.
Making access to housing easier, solving academic failure, making commerce surpluses to have a social use, help reconciling family and work life or getting rid of genre disctimination are the situations fought by these applications.
One of them is ESCOLAPP. This mobile app for Android and iPhone developed by solusoft was awarded with the Audience Award for supplying a communication channel between education centres and the pupils' parents or responsibles.
This way ESCOLAPP solves the lack of information provided to the father, mother or person in charge thanks to the constant monitoring of each student, providing the possibility of detecting problems on time.
