Bringing out the social side of mobile apps on The App Date CO
We participated in The App Date CO, the laboratory of social apps that tries to improve the people's lives by using the technology.
Did you know that by the end of this year there will be more smartphones than people in earth? So, why just sharing, chatting, receiving, communicating... when we can also help?
Under this premise The App Date CO was born, an initiative based on the idea that one of the multiple uses that smartphones and their apps have is helping people to improve their living conditions. The Laboratory of social apps started with the help of Ongawa and Quiero salvar el mundo haciendo marketing (I want to save the world marketing in Spanish), a way of investigating collectively to make social side of mobile applications progress.
The last of these four sessions is on April the 5th. Third sector, mobile apps and social entrepreneurship professionals will join in this date to investigate between all the participants the possibilities of the social side of mobile applications.
Sergio Alcalde, Head of R&D Departament of solusoft, has been participating in the previous sessions of the Laboratory of social apps celebrated on February. During these days, participants not only investigated, debated and learnt about this topic, but also created several prototypes of these mobile applications that try to turn the world into a better place.
